About The Nossehtelë Tirno
Often you will see duplicated names and whatnot. That is because this is a crazy, mixed up family with really whacked relationships. This isn't real life, you know. So just ignore the duplicated names and work with it as best you can. I've added links to connect the various dupe names.

Last updated: September 5, 2011 -- Currently working on the Puddifoot-Bunce family tree (family of Faye, my new Hobbit NPC), the Rushlight family tree (new NPC Bree family), the Di'maluin family tree (family of Mar-Evayave, my primary character), and the history of Ethuil (Mar's dear friend).

The Nossehtelë Tirno, the House of the Fountain Guard or -- as it is commonly known -- the Fireblade Manor, is quite secluded from the main inhabited sector of the Valley. The manor has born its proud banners as always on the eastern end of the Valley of Imladris, on the foothills bordering the nearby Misty Mountains. The tall, iron-wrought gates faces the western horizon towards the Sea. The Iron Gates – with silver flowers that wreathed its form – had been wrought years upon years ago, in memory of Gondolin, and the Flower of the Eldar. The gardens stretch from well along the path to the Manor and around the Southern end of the Manor. Within these gardens can be found Faelivren, the gardener, named after the legendary Finduilas. The path from the Valley winds up through the Iron Gates and to the front door, which faces the West. Just before reaching the door, the path also breaks off and winds around the south-western corner of the Manor and leads into the main section of the gardens. The Nossehtelë Tirno stood empty for many months before being renovated to accommodate a large family. Now it has stood for some time since its renovation, and still holds a fair portion of its family. Originally it housed Elenaro Fireblade and his fair elf-wife Tanequil, but both have been gone for some time. Their sole child, an elf-maiden named Mar-Evayávë Di'maluin, was the one to order its renovation, for it was her family she wanted to bring into it. Now many bedrooms have been personalized, belonging to her children.

These days only five children are generally at home. Mar and her husband, Aigronding Mordagnir, are still raising their five youngest children -- the others are grown and moved away, visiting the Manor only occasionally when their schedules permit. In the meantime, Mar and Aig lead a busy life of their own, both involved in many duties in and around the Valley. But none of these compare to the duty -- the responsibility -- they have for their five children at home.

Eve is the oldest of the four. She is a mortal from Rohan, adopted by one of Mar and Aig's older daughters, Olly. After Olly went into the West (when Eve was almost 9), Mar and Aig took Eve under their wing and have continued in Olly's footsteps, nurturing Eve as she grows into a lovely young lady. She is now 16 years old, and becoming more like her mother than ever.

Next is Silmiel, half-elven half-Rohir, the first child Mar adopted, before Mar had even met her husband. She had found Silmiel under a bush, half-dead, with no memory of her past. Mar had given her the name Silmiel, meaning Daughter of Starlight. At the time, Silmiel was 4 (in human years). Now she is 13 years of age.

Roughly the same age as Silmiel, Wilwarin is an elven child of unknown descent, adopted by Tasare into the Annuieleni family. In the prolonged absence of her adoptive mother, Wilwarin was welcomed into the Mordagnir family until her mother's return. Her entry into the family was very good, for she would have two sisters very close to her own age. Tasare's adopted daughted Eledhwen already returned with the Tuilinn Inn's cook Wilya to Lindon, where they rejoined Tasare. Wilwarin's fate is yet undecided.

Next come Arawen and Heledir, the biological twins of Mar and Aig. They were born in Minas Tirith, Arawen first and Heledir moments later. They are now roughly 7 and a half years of age (in human years). The Main Hall of the Manor had rose-colored and marble-tiled floorings. Directly inside the grand double-doors of the entry is a long, expansive hallway. From this Main Hall, nearly every room is accessible on the first floor. Two grand staircases – facing opposite directions: East and West; and meeting together at the top – greet you on the right of the Main Hall. Just before the West Staircase is the archway into the formal – or informal, depending on the occasion – Living-Room. In the middle of the two staircases, where they meet on the second floor, is a similar arch leading into the dining chamber, also suitable for any occasion. On the South-Eastern end of the stairs, to the right, is the entry to the Kitchens and the pantries. On the Eastern wall opposite the Main Entry is the doors to the training room and the armory, as well as a large, oaken door that led into a sheltered passage to the stables and the lavatories. Within these stables stands the Master Horseman, Turion, ever caring for the horses with gentle love. The bathing chamber of the lavatories stand upon a special furnace that heats the stone flooring, making for an ever-heated chamber. On the North wall of the Manor, on the left of the entry, lie the massive ballroom (opposite the Living-Room), then the library (opposite the Dining-Room) and finally two studies: one for the original Lord and Lady, Elenaro and Tanequil, and one for the current Lord and Lady, Aig and Mar, though the latter is frequently used as a family room where the Lord and his Lady sit in the evenings with their children. Within the ballroom one can find a grand piano, many stringed instruments and an odd assortment of brass wind instruments. Accompanying these sat one single, hide-bound drum. Grand fireplaces adorned the North and West walls of the ballroom. In the library is where one might often find Mar, for she favors the library above all the rooms in the Manor. She has every inch of space filled with books. Shelves lined every wall and even stood back-to-back in the middle of the room, encompassing a comfortable lounging area with chairs, couches, pillows and cushions. A few small tables adorned the ends of the chairs and couches. An elaborate rug beneath it all complimented the statues and draperies that stood along the walls amidst the shelves. Within the Training Chamber one finds a row of floor-to-ceiling mirrors along the North wall, and windows on the East. The South wall holds a door leading into the armory where one can always find the introvert Belethad, the Weapons-Master, who prefers to remain lost in his work save for when his Master Elenaro is around. In the Kitchens one can find the cook, Estelien, and a host of day-maids who aided the cook in preparation and serving of the meals. These day-maids can also been seen throughout the manor, cleaning the rooms and preparing the bed-chambers before returning to the Valley where they reside. Cirlaicë, the steward, is often elusive, though not through his own doing. He is constantly on the go, checking in on the various servants. Lothiriel and Mirien, two maids who live in the Manor, also can be found everywhere and anywhere. Both the Dining-Room and the Living-Room display ornate fireplaces on their Southern walls. The Living-Room has two fireplaces on either side of a round alcove that led from the Manor directly into the gardens. Up the stairs on the second floor one can find a string of rooms encircling the stairs. Next to the stairs is a single, sweeping staircase leading further up to the servant chambers and additional guest chambers on the third floor. On the second floor, a small hall swings around the Western staircase and leads to the double doors of the Master Bedchamber, where the Lord and his Lady sleep by night. This bedchamber occupies the space above the Living-Room, in the South-Western corner of the Manor. A large, four-poster master bed stands against the Western wall, with two wide windows on either side. A vanity and a grand wardrobe adorn the East wall and a simple dresser stands on the North. On the South wall stand large, glass doors that lead to a small balcony that over-looked the gardens. Adjoining this Master Bedchamber, accessible from both the Master Bedchamber and the hall by the head of the stairs, is the nursery in which the toddler twins Arawen and Heledir as well as the new infant Eledhwen sleep, and next to that, the bedchamber of Silmiel, Wilwarin, and Eve. Beyond their bedroom, and arching around the circumference of the second floor are more bedrooms for the individual children as well as some for guests, including a room for Ethuil, a dear friend of Mar's. Finally, near the Master bedroom, on the Western wall, was a second master bedroom, available at any time for the original Master and Mistress: Elenaro and Tanequil. Each bedchamber (on the second and third floors) has its own bathing chamber with large tubs cut smoothly from the floor to be stepped into, and elaborate, marble counters. Each bedchamber also has a personal fireplace with a pair of cushioned chairs facing it. The final chambers of the second floor stand in the center of the floor, next to the stairs. Of these chambers all but two are unlocked. One is a more formal family room for use when a whole family stays over-night. Several other are simply small supply closets and a private lavatory. Next to these chambers stand two firmly pad-locked doors. One leads to the private armory, and the other to the House Treasury. Four sets of keys belong to those doors and are in the possession of the two Lords and their Ladies. The location of the keys are thus hidden as they choose. A final, large balcony stands over the grand entry-porch (of the first floor) on the Western wall, between the two master bedrooms. Manor NPC's: Cirlaicë – Steward Estelien – Cook Belethad (served under Gil-atar) – Weapons Master Turion – Horse Master Lothiriel (Belethad's wife) and Mirien - Maids Faelivren – Gardener

Cedarwood Hall, just around the corner from the Prancing Pony, and just down the street from the Bree Market, is the home of the Rushlight family. They have lived there for generations and the road it is one, Towne Street, is named for one of their ancestors. The home is passed from father to son, and so when old Bart Rushlight passed on, it went to his eldest son Ham. When Ham and his wife, Samara, tragically died some years later, it would have passed to Ham's only son, Dax. However, Dax was not of age at the time and so Ham's only brother, Giles, moved in and became head of the household until Dax was old enough. With Giles came his wife, Mary, and their only child, Charles. When Dax became of age, however, he was delinquent and cared nothing for the house, and so Giles and his family remained in the abode.

In the house lives Giles with his wife Mary and their son Charlie (19 years). Giles' three nieces (Dax's younger sisters) also live there: Penny, Bri and Tessa. Dax does live there also, though when he is at home he usually is sleeping off the effects of the previous night. They have a single cook (Elete) and a maid (Shela), but neither live in the Hall. Both servants are there only during the daylight hours (arriving some time after dawn and leaving before dark) and they have weekends and all holidays off.

COMBE Sienna Sprigleaf has been a resident of Bree for a long time, but has finally returned to the nearby Combe, the town in which she was born and raised. She has taken the position of Judge for the small village and with her goes her niece and ward Autumn. OSDOLEN Silent and foreboding, Dinenol Gûdagnir (Foeslayer) has finally taken the oath of service to the Rangers of Eriador once again. Long he had been roaming the lands solo, but no more. The call of his heritage summons him to greater things, and greater dangers as his new life leads him against new dark evils. BYWATER Faye Puddifoot-Bunce was born and raised in Stock of the Marish, and upon reaching maturity she has set out for Michel Delving. However, she went no further than the area of Hobbiton-Bywater, where she decided to lay down her roots. For the time being she resides with her friend Menolly in Bywater, and can be seen about the area, particularly at the StrawberryStar Brewery and the Shire Knitting Circle. RIVENDELL Residing in the Vale of Rivendell, previously in the Tuilinn Inn, is Wilya Randir. Wanderer and chef, she brought her journey to an end and offered her services to Tasare Annuieleni as sole chef and housekeeper. Under her wing is Andarion, a former thief now working at the Inn as well. He flourished under her care and became quite the handsome young man. Recent events have led them all from the Tuilinn, and Wilya's future is as uncertain as a winter wind. Also residing in Rivendell is Dinfaerien, known as Faeri to her friends. This Quiet Spirit of the Noldor serves as a guard of the Valley. BELERIAND In the days of old, when Beleriand was still the pride and glory of Middle-Earth, before its fateful destruction and sinking, lived Loth-Talath and Alachas Di'maluin, parents of Mar-Evayave Mordagnir. Through an epic series of events in which Tala and Alachas almost meet and yet never quite do for some time, their lives played a prominent role in the events leading up to Beleriand's destruction. Though they eventually met their deaths centuries later in the dark forest of Fangorn, their legacy rings through the lands as their eldest daughter pushes steadfastly onward.
